From Mandi Bahauddin: fast food at Jerry's in Kharian

Take the road north from Mandi Bahauddin towards Dinga, then continue on to Kharian. In total it is about 50 km, often around an hour or a little more depending on traffic in the towns along the way. In Kharian, head onto the GT Road for Mall of Kharian.

If you are heading on towards Lahore or Rawalpindi, Kharian is where you join the GT Road (N-5), so it makes sense to eat here before the main highway.

Why it is worth planning around Jerry's

• A proper break: an hour on the road is enough to arrive hungry.
