Tips for serving lavashak at your event

• Keep sauce separate until serving. Lavashak keeps its chewy texture best when the imli sauce is added just before eating. Our storage and freshness guide explains why.
• Keep it out of the sun and heat. Outdoor functions in a Punjabi summer can get hot. Store the lavashak somewhere shaded and cool until it is time to serve.
• Have extra sauce on hand. Imli sauce tends to run out before the lavashak does. You can order extra imli sauce with your order.
• Provide napkins. Tamarind sauce is delicious and sticky.
