Jhelum to Kharian food stop on the GT Road

The GT Road between Jhelum and Kharian is one of the busiest stretches of the N-5. Families heading to Lahore, people coming home from Islamabad, and locals moving between towns all use it every day. The drive from Jhelum to Kharian

Jhelum sits on the bank of the Jhelum River, on the GT Road. Heading south-east from Jhelum towards Lahore, you cross the river and pass Sarai Alamgir before reaching Kharian. The GT Road links all three, so you can stay on the N-5 the whole way.

A treat to take with you
